About the FDP

The Faculty Development Programme (FDP) is designed to empower faculty members, researchers, and academicians by equipping them with advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven tools and methodologies to enhance research productivity and academic excellence. The programme focuses on developing competencies in AI-assisted literature review, research discovery, scholarly information synthesis, and reference management using contemporary research platforms.

It provides hands-on exposure to AI-enabled techniques for data analysis, visualization, and interpretation to generate meaningful insights and publication-ready outcomes. Additionally, the FDP aims to strengthen participants’ academic writing, manuscript preparation, editing, and grant proposal development skills through the effective use of AI-powered writing and productivity tools.

Emphasis is also placed on fostering the ethical and responsible application of AI in research and publication practices by addressing research integrity, AI-generated content, journal selection, and awareness of predatory publishing practices.

FDP Objectives

  • To develop participants' competencies in AI-assisted literature review, research discovery, reference management, and synthesis of scholarly information using contemporary research tools.
